In what way do you feel it is not designed for FPV? I'm building one now and it comes with a built in (screwed in place) camera and DJI air unit mount up front, long cable to connect the air unit to the the flight controller, easily accessible PDB and FC in the mid bay, long range receiver, etc.. The battery bay is long and fat accommodating almost any battery configuration you can imagine. I'll be running anything between 5S 4000mAh to 6s2p 9000mAh LiIon. For the most part all the gear can be mounted with velcro, the wings have latches, the tail screws on. The kit comes with option to mount LED strips in the leading edge of the wings.

@daemn42 it's only designed to run an air unit. With no design for a front mounted GoPro, unlike the dolphin, rebel GT , dart XL, ect..

"If only they designed and build (sic) this with FPV in mind" is just an absolutely baffling thing to say about a plane that's obviously designed around FPV and includes the string "FPV FLYING WING" in the product title on the manufacturer's own website. If you need a GoPro mount you can 3D print a suitable nosecone and swap it for the stock one as shown in other videos coming out about this wing-it's obviously designed for flexibility in this regard. The fact that the stock nosecone isn't designed around a GoPro mount is a good thing, because the vast majority of FPV flyers today are going to be happy with the DVR capabilities of a high end air unit like the O4 Pro.

@ It's designed to be super slippery and fast, like the Goblin, which was also designed *for* FPV and does not carry a GoPro. There's just no way to make a fast slippery plane with the nose of a brick. The O4 Air Unit Pro has all the capabilities of the previous gen GoPros (and I wouldn't carry the big fat bloated pig of the current gen anyway).

it's all in the prop. an 8x4.5 prop will simply not go faster. for our kind of flying we prefer the vertical speed (35m/s , 90mph).

I mean.. My Dolphin on a 4s lipo also hits 170kmh reliably. But it shakes like a motherfucker. Reaching a speed and confidently handling that speed are two different things.

It's more about the outside conditions. No wind, no thermals. I imagine this aircraft is also quite stable. Planks/forward swept are my favorite wings to fly.

look at the sun, it looks like morning. the ground has not yet really warmed up, so there is no chatter. In the morning and evening all the planes fly as if on rails. but in trench weather in the afternoon, still low near the ground, it will shake.

I am not sure if it was calibrated in this video. But from looking at it could be quite close! I‘ll upload another dvr with a calibrated sensor in the coming days

At the moment there are only around 10 Mojitos out there and i believe all are running the TBS Electronics Pack. With a more agressive prop you could defenitely go faster, but it would reduce the flight time. As i really enjoy cruising and longrange flights, i preffer efficiency over speed.

@@joshgault61 140mph on 1 kw is what I usually see. Agreed on prop. Not going fast with 8x4.5 prop.

@@scottyh72 cool, is that with a Mojito? Only footage I have with data is my old goblin doing the 1 mile challenge. About 900W for 125 flat level speed for 1minute. It’s smaller though, so obviously will use less amps. I think the mojito numbers look good as it’s quite a bit larger. - but look how much easier it is to build!

i have broken a single one in 6months, but i broke 3 motors

@@flyte.studio how did you break the motors ... does that mean this doesnt give adequate motor protection or is it just the stout motors thats an issue?
